Netherlands vs Ecuador: Preview

The 2022 FIFA World Cup is back in action this week with a new set of games, starting on Friday at the Khalifa International Stadium when Ecuador takes on Louis van Gaal’s excellent Netherlands team.

Currently ranked second in Group A, Ecuador has had a successful opening to their 2022 FIFA World Cup campaign. The South American team will play a stronger foe in this match after easily defeating Qatar by a 2-0 score last week.

Currently leading their group, the Netherlands overcame Senegal with two late goals to pass their opening test. The Oranje have a strong squad at their disposal, so this week they must perform at their highest level.
